As a M.I.C.E. Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue and managing the group's meetings, incentive, conferences, and exhibitions business. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that attract and engage clients seeking exceptional event experiences. Your expertise in the M.I.C.E. sector will help position Conrad Athens The Ilisian as a premier destination for business and corporate events. As a M.I.C.E. Sales Manager you will be reporting to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Drive M.I.C.E. sales through strategic account management and meet sales targets through relationship-building with corporate clients and event planners, as agreed with the Director of Sales.
- Proactively prospect, cultivate, and develop strategic relationships within assigned market segments. Create comprehensive account management development plans, identify new contacts, and establish a trusted partner network.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Hilton Worldwide Sales Teams, maximize lead generation and conversion and ensure alignment with Conrad brand standards.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility, build new business relationships and generate new sales leads.
- Organize and host familiarization (FAM) trips, site inspections and client events to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
- Collaborate with Revenue and Groups & Events teams, ensuring effective account management for the dedicated markets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop compelling promotional materials that highlight the hotel’s M.I.C.E. capabilities.
- Liaise with operational departments and provide relevant market feedback.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance of the dedicated markets through regular reporting and analysis to the Director of Sales.
