Are you an experienced Sous Chef looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef to join a kitchen team at a renowned restaurant in Cyprus in a permanent contract. If you have a passion for culinary excellence and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the preparation and delivery of exceptional dishes. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in managing and supervising kitchen operations, ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative and enticing menus
  • Participating in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control activities
  • Overseeing food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion sizes to maintain consistency
  • Training and mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and hygiene practices
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of ingredients
  • Assisting in managing kitchen expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices
  • Providing support during busy periods and ensuring smooth service operations

Salary and Benefits:

  • Net salary of 3000E per month
  • Live-in accommodation available
  • Meals provided

Working Hours and Overtime:

  • 6 days of work out of 6 days in a week
  • 8 hours per day
  • Any overtime will be paid at double the regular rate
