Are you an experienced Sous Chef looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef to join a kitchen team at a renowned restaurant in Cyprus in a permanent contract. Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, assisting the Head Chef in overseeing the preparation and delivery of exceptional dishes. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in managing and supervising kitchen operations, ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation
- Collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative and enticing menus
- Participating in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control activities
- Overseeing food preparation, cooking techniques, and portion sizes to maintain consistency
- Training and mentoring kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and hygiene practices
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of ingredients
- Assisting in managing kitchen expenses and ensuring cost-effective practices
- Providing support during busy periods and ensuring smooth service operations
Salary and Benefits:
- Net salary of 3000E per month
- Live-in accommodation available
- Meals provided
Working Hours and Overtime:
- 6 days of work out of 6 days in a week
- 8 hours per day
- Any overtime will be paid at double the regular rate
