Airfreight operation:
Α maritime and freight forwarding company based in Piraeus, is seeking an experienced Air Freight Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day airfreight export shipments.
- Prepare and issue quotations.
- Handle bookings with airlines
- Issue AWBs and accompanying export documentation
- Track shipments and proactively update clients on status
- Liaise with airlines, customs brokers, agents, and overseas partners
- Ensure smooth, timely execution of export shipments from Greece
Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of experience in air freight export operations (forwarding industry)
- Solid knowledge of AWB issuance and export documentation
- Familiarity with airline booking systems and procedures
- Computer Literacy and strong communication skills in English
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple shipments under deadlines
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset
