Sommelier

High-end hospitality group, Lesante Collection, is comprised of the three five-star luxury hotels on the island of Zakynthos representing a trilogy of exceptional hospitality and absolute comfort for all. The Group is both family-owned and a proud ambassador for the island’s riches, a characteristic that shines through Lesante Cape, Lesante Blu and Lesante Classic, the three Lesante Collection resorts.

Each hotel is inspired by the lands of Zakynthos in its own right and invites guests to become immersed in the lush nature, inspiring traditions and authentic lifestyle of the finest Ionian Island.

Key responsibilities:

• Create pairing of food and wine, check temperatures and choice of glassware for each wine
• Attention to details
• Check the wine stock, and submit orders
• Upselling skills, excellent interpersonal relationships with colleagues and guests

Best candidate’s profile:

• 2 years minimum experience in a similar position at a luxury environment
• Excellent knowledge of wines, and wines preservation, minimum WSPC level 3 (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a pleasant personality
• Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential, knowledge of other is a plus
• Ability to adjust to the standards of the hotel brand
• Professional behavior and appearance
