DrP Wellness Group is a rapidly growing pharmacy retail platform, operating a network of pharmacies across Greece. As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team and report to the Accounting Manager. You will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Group and contribute to the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and information.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and bookkeeping.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (ELP)
- Reconcile supplier, customer and general ledger accounts and investigate any discrepancies
- Perform daily store cash reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Review and process supplier invoices and employee expense claims
- Monitor and support payment preparation and execution processes
- Support VAT, withholding tax, myDATA and other statutory reporting requirements
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors and public authorities when required
- Assist with payroll accounting and related reconciliations
- Support accounting integration and harmonization activities related to newly acquired entities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects
