The Role:
Our Team is expanding and we’re looking for a Renovations Engineer Supervisor in Athens who will be responsible in all aspects of the day-to-day management, supervision and coordination of company’s property renovation team. This person will participate in all activities required to source, pursue and renovate properties including cost estimation, contract administration, schedule management and risk-quality management.
The Renovation Engineer will be joining a strong customer oriented, supportive and friendly team that goes above and beyond for our clients. This role would suit a highly-driven individual, interested in working in a global fast paced environment, with the ability to work in an indoor/outdoor environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Renovation department supervision and coordination of the team (assigning tasks and goals to renovation team, prepare work schedules and time- lines for jobs and projects).
• Plan and Coordinate property renovation execution ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to policies, standards and procedures.
• Supervising the building works and inspecting construction site.
• Manage multiple projects utilizing in-house and outside resources to complete renovations within the schedule and budget, while maintaining quality standards consistent with present and future needs.
• Selection & procurement of materials, production methods & suppliers for the respective project.
• Negotiation with the developers, suppliers & technicians.
• Monitor progress against timetables, investigate and resolve delays.
• Review, approve/ amend plans, renovation drawings, schematics, documents, estimates, etc.
• Conduct final project inspection, evaluate quality and completeness of work, ensure adherence to terms and conditions of contract and design specifications.
• Provide ongoing feedback on project status, contractor performance and other relevant developments/ issues.
• Ensure that all required project documentation (e.g. periodic progress reports, cost estimates, amendments, change orders, invoice approvals, contract documents, surveys etc.) is produced.
