Job Description

  • Take responsibility for the activation of the company’s overall sales strategy.
  • Manage the relationship between direct and online sales.
  • Meet and exceed budgeted targets
  • Maximize room revenue.
  • Monitoring and mentoring Marketing, Sales and Reservations of the Hotel & Villas depart-ment.
  • Research and preparations for international exhibitions where Ethos could take part.
  • Manage the Reservations department & all rooms reservations processes for the hotel and Villas.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations and efficient running of the Reservations Depart-ment
  • Identify opportunities across the market segments maximizing Sales return with a particular focus on Direct Sales for the hotel and Villa Rentals.
  • Maintain existing client base whilst growing our share of the business.
  • Ensure that our online presence applies the correct rate strategy and offers accurate prop-erty descriptions.
  • Review the segments to identify any un-explored opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for Travel Management Companies - networking & development.
  • Ensure that all existing and new reservations are correctly allocated and include all the nec-essary and correct information into the PMS and Reservations data base.
  • Continually audit our business mix to ensure development of the business segments to de-liver exceptional results.
  • Evaluate sales resources to ensure they are correctly mobilized to drive strategy and market share.
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reservation reports
  • Update rates and availability in the Channel Manager
  • Manage bookings and Online Travel Agencies (OTA) for both Hotel & Villas.
  • Collaborate closely with the Hotel Manager team and the Front Office department.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone or mail
  • Receive reservation enquiries over the phone and via email
  • Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations
  • Deal with all guest inquiries/guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in all aspects such as: presentations, written and public speak-ing both in English and Greek.
  • Budget development and management skills.
  • Ability to analyze departmental financial data to make strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Ability to deliver performance feedback to subordinates to improve overall performance..
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide development and mentoring to others.
  • Ability to work independently and manage the work of others.
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Commerce or other re-lated business qualifications
  • Previous experience in Sales, Reservations and Marketing department for 3-5 years.
  • Previous experience in Protel is an asset.
