Position Overview
Our Housekeeping Assistant Manager is
an extremely valuable member of our management team. He / she needs to become
an ambassador of our vision, align with our ethics, policies & principles,
to seize them and deliver them to each member of his/her team. To be willing to
represent The Rooster philosophy as our team member while on site yet also
towards the outside world, so we can rise together and be willing to provide a
home away for our properties guests in home.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ability to adapt easily to new
way of doing things
- Have an eye for attention to
detail and interior room /exterior set ups
- Strong communication skills
& excellence in handling guests complaints
- To welcome and acknowledge all
guests according to our principles by anticipating and addressing guests'
service needs.
- Open to propose creative solutions which you need
to be applying in case of unpredictable situation
- Previous experience to perform
onboarding of new hires in the housekeeping department
- To actively support the House
Keeping Manager on delivering staff trainings on site daily or on per need
basis
- To be able to prepare shift
schedules & handle disciplinary incidents of the staff
- Develop and maintain positive
working relationships with his/her team members
- Experience to supervise end to
end the internal Laundry Operation
concerning guest’s laundry and staff uniforms;
knowledge of ironing is essential
Requirements
- Previous Experience minimum 3 years in this role in hospitality is
mandatory
- Excellent knowledge of verbal and written English
- Excellent knowledge of verbal and written Greek
- Knowledge of Internet and MS Office applications
- Car Driving license is mandatory
- EU Working Visa is needed
- Cleanliness and hygiene expertise with proven previous experience
- Ability to coordinate effectively and motivate teams
- Strong skills to coach and inspire his/her team
