Position Summary
Barista will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders, accept payments, prepare, and serve drinks. In addition, Barista maintains a clean and well-stocked workspace area and updates displays. To succeed as a barista, he/she should be committed to providing customers with excellent service.
- Welcoming customers by determining their coffee interests and needs
- Prepares and sells a variety of coffee drinks, answers questions, and accepts orders and payments
- Prepares and sells a variety of coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and prepara-tion techniques for coffee drinks
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply, maintaining supplies for cof-fee bar
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting break-downs performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Follows health and safety regulations in work environment
- Adheres to all food safety regulations and quality controls
