The Product Information & Master Data Specialist is responsible for the end‑to‑end management, quality, and governance of all core company data—products, suppliers, customers, POS, budgets—and for the accuracy, completeness, and optimization of product information across all sales channels and digital platforms. This role acts as a central liaison between Sales, Marketing, Procurement, IT, and external partners, ensuring that master data and product content support commercial strategy, operational efficiency, and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
📌 Master Data Management
- Maintain, update, and validate master data for products, suppliers, customers and commercial trademarks.
- Manage and monitor budget master data across all companies and business units.
- Process customer master data requests and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal data governance standards and contribute to continuous improvement of data quality.
📌 Product Information Management (PIM)
- Manage accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date product information across all sales channels, e‑commerce platforms, and internal systems.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure product descriptions, attributes, and digital content align with brand identity and customer expectations.
- Oversee the creation, organization, and distribution of product catalogs, ensuring consistency and high‑quality presentation.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and optimize product content strategy.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, labeling requirements, and industry standards.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to collect detailed product specifications, documentation, and media assets.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize PIM systems to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
- Monitor product KPIs and recommend improvements to product content, categorization, and digital merchandising.
- Train internal teams on PIM workflows, data standards, and best practices.
