GEOSYSTEMS HELLAS S.A., a Geoinformatics company based in Pangrati (Athens), is seeking a Geospatial Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the needs - design, develop and test software,
  • Improve already developed applications
  • Develop, document and demonstrate solutions (documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code).
  • Determine system specifications and standards

Location: Pangrati (Athens)

Required Qualifications:

  • Coding languages: Python, Bash scripting
  • Databases: Postgres
  • OS: Linux, Windows
  • Master or Bachelor University degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Bonus skills:

  • Coding languages: JavaScript, HTML5, Typescript, CSS
  • Frameworks: React, Next, Flask
  • Platforms: Docker
  • Geospatial knowledge: Postgis, Geoserver

Assets:

  • Delivery within schedule and other constraints,
  • Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively,
  • Confidentiality,
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in image processing and geospatial data
