About the role
As Waiter/Waitress A at Domes Aulus Elounda Resort, you will deliver excellent service and an enjoyable dining and drinking experience for every guest. You will take orders, serve food and beverages and look after guests' needs throughout their meal.
What you will do
Guest service
- Welcome guests warmly and promptly and escort them to their tables.
- Provide attentive and courteous service throughout the meal, responding to guests' needs and preferences.
- Thank guests warmly as they leave and invite them to return.
Operations
- Share menu information and answer questions about food and drinks.
- Record orders in the POS system at the time of ordering.
- Close the shift on the POS terminal and reconcile cash and card payments.
- Keep the restaurant clean and organised, front and back of house.
Teamwork
- Work with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure food and beverages are delivered on time.
- Communicate with the kitchen about menu questions, allergies, dietary requirements and special requests.
