As an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer you will have the following responsibilities::

• Develop, implement, monitor, and review safety programs, requiring the application of engineering principles and technology so as to prevent accidents and improve working conditions
• Plan, implement and monitor environmental programs that promote sustainable development
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation of new systems, processes, and services to achieve maximum efficiency
• Promote change management to lead and coordinate improvement or implementation
• Warn co-workers about defective equipment and other hazards
• Participate in health and safety training applicable to their work situation
• Participate in required inspection and monitoring programs

For the Environmental Health & Safety Engineer position you should possess the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 1+ years of experience as a Safety Engineer or HSE supervisory roles
• Extensive knowledge of Greek and European HSE legislation and regulations, codes of practice, and standards
• Experience in conducting HSE Inspections and audits and producing reports
• Fluency in Greek and English language
• Computer skills (MS Office, ERP)
• Working knowledge of QHSE Management Systems (OHSAS 180001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
• Very good interpersonal skills
• Efficient planning, organizing, and time management skills, self-motivation, learning mindset, and teamwork
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivation along with an innovative and problem-solving attitude.
• Team player.
• Good communication and project management skills
