Περιγραφή

On behald of our client, a 5* Resort in Folegandros with 25 Suites & 2 Villas , we are recruiting a Chef De Partie for this summer season.

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in our culinary team, working closely under the guidance of our esteemed Executive Chef, and Executive Consultant Chef Mr. Lazarou. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of your assigned section within the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

  • 1 day off per week

The Role: 

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
  • Oversee the preparation and mise en place for your assigned section, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, organized, and readily available.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of ingredients, notifying the Sous Chef or Executive Chef of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Assist in menu planning and development under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
  • Train and mentor junior members of the kitchen brigade, ensuring they adhere to the resort's standards of excellence.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new techniques, recipes, and industry trends.
  • Handle any guest feedback or special requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, offering suggestions for enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary institute is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, and holidays as required in a dynamic hospitality setting.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
