Mission: Your role is pivotal in ensuring that the company embraces, further to its statutory obligations, the relevant culture to ensure the safety, health and welfare of its people. You will advise the Directors and Managers on all relevant matters. Be an active role model to the people, devise the developmental processes and the training to pass the proper ways of thinking and doing. Provide guidance on how to implement as well as maintain the health, safety and environmental wellness of the people.
The jobholder will be responsible to:
- Design and Maintain all the H&S,E regulations to adhere with the legislation
- Ensure that the employees have the appropriate health & safety training
- Conduct "risk assessments"/inspections, as required by legislation
- Assess reports from investigations regarding accidents and near-miss incidents, record the findings
- Identify and Update the workplace hazards, access risks and recommend solutions
- Ensure that the workplace is monitored and fully in compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, rules and regulations
- Put in practice 5S framework to create and value, schedule and coordinate audits' timetable
- Secure that policies and procedures follow all ISO certifications
