MED SEA HEALTH S.A. is currently recruiting for its 5* hotel in Paliouri (Kassandra Halkidiki), for the following position:

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

THE ROLE

The Executive Housekeeper needs to ensure that exceptional cleanliness standards are met and to assist in maximizing guest-satisfaction levels. This role is required to:

  • Supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, follow-up on delegated activities, verify rooms cleaned and update room status
  • Be aware of early check-ins and late check-outs and communicate this information to assistant housekeepers& maids
  • Run regular and random inspections on guest rooms, public areas, etc. to ensure quality standards are constantly met
  • Assist the Rooms Division Manager in the preparation of timesheets, follow-up on actual hours worked by each team member and facilitate completion of any required paperwork
  • Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining and motivating employees
  • Ensure personal cleanliness, personal appearance, uniform and other professional standards are met by all team members whilst acting as a role-model for them
  • Facilitate good communication flow of information between swifts
  • Ensure health & safety standards are respected by the team members
  • Collect quantitative data for reports’ production as well as qualitative data for individual performance and assist the Rooms Division Manager in assessing individual performance
  • Report any issues/hazards/discrepancies to the Maintenance Department and follow-up on progress of the required actions

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language
  • Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
  • Diploma in Hospitality
  • Computer literate
  • Minimum 5years’ experience as Executive Housekeeper in large hotels
  • Discreet and courteous
  • Goal-oriented, with strong leadership skills and able to motivate and engage team members
  • Proactive,hands-on, flexible, able to handle unforeseen situations with outstanding professionalism
