On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing hospitality group with operations across Cyprus and Greece, we are seeking an experienced Group Project Manager to support the successful delivery of hotel development, renovation and third-party hotel management projects.
This is a key coordination role with direct exposure to senior management and responsibility for ensuring that multiple projects, departments and external stakeholders remain aligned from initial implementation through to full operational integration.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of the overall coordination and implementation of key Group projects, including:
- New hotel management agreements
- Hotel development projects
- Renovation projects across existing properties
- Operational integration of newly managed properties
The role acts as the central point of coordination between senior management, internal departments, technical teams, contractors and external partners.
This position does not involve negotiating or signing hotel management agreements. Instead, the Project Manager takes responsibility for everything that follows once an agreement has been concluded, ensuring that all actions, deadlines and deliverables are implemented correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Implementation & Coordination
- Develop and manage detailed implementation plans for each project.
- Define responsibilities, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate all internal departments involved, including Operations, Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing, Technical and IT.
- Ensure that all actions arising from signed agreements are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Create and improve standardised project processes, checklists, templates and SOPs.
- Maintain visibility over multiple projects and ensure consistent follow-up across all stakeholders.
- Project Tracking & Risk Management
- Track project progress using project management tools and structured reporting.
- Follow up systematically with all departments and external partners.
- Identify delays, risks and operational gaps at an early stage.
- Propose corrective actions and support management in resolving project-related issues.
- Ensure priorities and deadlines remain clearly communicated across all teams.
- Hotel Renovation Projects
- Coordinate renovation projects across existing hotel properties.
- Work closely with technical teams, contractors and hotel operations.
- Monitor timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Support the coordination between technical works and hotel operational requirements.
- Ensure renovation projects progress according to agreed plans and quality standards.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, decisions and pending actions.
- Prepare regular project status reports for senior management.
- Provide clear visibility on timelines, risks, milestones and next actions.
- Maintain structured documentation for each project.
Requirements
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Hospitality Management or another relevant field.
- Approximately 3–7 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Project Coordination or a similar role.
- Previous experience within hospitality, hotels, construction, development or property management will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and project management software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to coordinate different departments and senior-level stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive, structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Valid driving licence.
- Availability to travel within Cyprus and Greece when required.
