ICAP Executive Search & Selection on behalf of its client, a Scandinavian travel arrangements company, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT User Support & Administration. The candidate will have the primary responsibility for first level support & troubleshooting for all user software & hardware at Piraeus premises and remotely to international offices & home-based users.

IT User Support & Administrator

Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the first point of contact for internal customers
  • Performs troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions and determines the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
  • Walks the user through the problem-solving process and follows-up to ensure full resolution of issues, while updating internal customer on status
  • Installs, maintains, and supports new user hardware
  • Provides first – level support on MS office requests, especially Excel
  • Resolves problems with networks and other IT infrastructure
  • Responsible for the administration and day-to-day maintenance of the Helpdesk application
  • Maintains an up-to-date IT asset inventory
  • Monitors and suggests enhancements on the incident management & service request processes
  • Records events and problems and their resolution and analyze common complaints and problems to fix root causes
  • Administration of Active Directory and Azure infrastructure
  • Managing the procurement process for end-user equipment and liaise with external partners to ensure smooth delivery
  • Researches and provides updated information on IT products or services to the regional IT team
  • Identifies and suggests possible improvements on internal IT processes

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements:
  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge on office automation products, networks, or databases
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, communications software, virus protection, and diagnostic software
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve onsite and remote PC related problems
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels in the organization
  • Customer-oriented, cool-tempered, able to work and deliver under tight time - limits
