Accounting Assistant

Phoenix Engineering GmbH was founded on 2020 by a team of telecommunication industry experts, dedicated to providing optimized turn-key solutions in the fields of infrastructure and broadband technologies.

We are looking for a highly talented individual to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our company. The ideal candidate will support our business growth and accounting department by processing transactions, expenses as well as updating our accounting database. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing support to the Accounting Department.

• Transactions monitoring and documentation.

• Updating and maintaining accounting database with data entry and reports.

• Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.

• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

• Communicating with Procurement Department, internal stakeholders and public services if needed.

• Drafting and preparing monthly and yearly reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or another similar field.

• 1-3 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in the technology and service industries

• Very good knowledge of the MS Office platform.

• Knowledge of ERP.

• Good command of the German language (current level Β1).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Communication and organization skills.
