Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Chemical Laboratory Analyst to join our Quality Department. The role is responsible for performing chemical analyses following specific analytical methods to assure the quality of all raw, intermediate and final materials intended for Lead-Acid, Submarines, Torpedo, and Wastewater Departments, according to quality standards. The position is based in Xanthi, Greece.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:
  • Implementation and execution of analyses and their compliance with quality standards and regulations, internal guidelines and technical specifications
  • Keep records of analytical data of all samples, create reports
  • Method development for analyses needed
  • Continuous cooperation with the Incoming Raw Materials and the R&D department for material analyses and chemical reports
  • Assistance on other departments preparing their chemical solutions

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Job requirements

  • BSc in Chemistry or other relevant degree (Physics, Biology)
  • 1+ years of working experience in a chemical laboratory (preferably in an industrial environment with multiple functions and manifestations with quality systems, procedures and policies)
  • Proficiency in handling chemical laboratory equipment
  • Knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP)
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Fluency in English & Greek
  • Demonstration of analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
