SUMMARY OF FUNCTION

Under the guidance of the Healtrh Club Manager, he/she will look closely at the working procedures of the Health Club and will welcome the guests and give advice.  In charge of Indoor Pool, Health Club, Changing Rooms including the Saunas, Sports Activities, Games Room and Treatment Rooms. Gets involved in the teaching aspects of some of the basic sports.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Assess individual's current exercise program and level of fitness to develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling.
  • Provide advice to individuals on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipment.
  • Provide information, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities. 
  • Provide advice to individuals on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipment.
  • Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Wipe down fitness center machines and remove towels, trash, and debris from fitness center area.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in recreation area.
  • Distribute lockers and towels to guests.
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
  • Oversee activities in the recreational facility and provide assistance to guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
  • Explain and promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
  • Ensure that hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Support team to reach common goals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print).
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e. g., to identify defects).
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

  • The Hotel Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
  • Hotel operation standards and departmental procedures
  • Methods of payment accepted by the Company (cash handling staff only)
  • Current Licensing regulations (Food and Beverage Service department only)
  • To adhere to the company’s policies and procedures for quality, environment and food safety.

Starting work from 08/01/2019. {the hotel need all the candidates to arrive from 08/01/2019 and till 05/03/2019 will be trained inside in the hotel . The Clients arriving at the hotel from 08/03/2019 }
