Red Berries is a fast-growing international property management and hospitality company operating short- and medium-term rental assets in Greece.
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to establish, structure, and run the accounting function in-house.
This role is fully responsible for accounting, tax compliance, reporting, and financial control across Red Berries' activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily & Monthly Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day payments to suppliers and service providers
- Monitor and track collections from tenants and booking platforms
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations
- Track expenses vs approved budgets and flag deviations
- Reporting & Control
- Prepare monthly financial reports per property
- Produce consolidated monthly operational financial reports for management
- Maintain clear cash-flow tracking
- Ensure financial data accuracy and completeness
- Collaboration & Interfaces
- Work closely with the Head of Greece Operations on operational finance matters
- Prepare and organize financial materials for the external accountant
- Coordinate data with property management and booking systems
- Documentation & Order
- Maintain organized financial records, invoices, and supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and financial workflows
Requirements
Mandatory
- 3+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping / accounting operations
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations and monthly reporting
- High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail, structure, and ownership
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good English communication skills (working with an international team)

Compensation & Employment Terms
- Monthly gross salary: €1,200 – €1,500 (depending on experience and capabilities)
- Employment type: Full-time position (with flexibility for a strong candidate at 80%)
- Location: Athens / Greece (hybrid work possible, with on-site availability as required)
- Start date: Immediate / flexible for the right candidate
