This is a full-time on-site (Kifisia, Athens) role for an Assistant Accountant.
The suitable candidate should be able to:
- Issue invoices to customers based on goods/ services sold
- Keep accounting books and systems up to date
- Record suppliers’ invoices
- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- Track expenses as they related to specific projects
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist month- end and year-end close process
- Intrastat- VIES- VAT declaration
- Daily communication with customers and suppliers to reconcile statements
Educational & Other Requirements
- Professional Experience : Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (Softone preferably)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Fluent in English
- Completed mandatory military service
