Based at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Front of House Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Bellman will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service from arrival to departure, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. This role includes luggage handling of arrivals and departures, in-room deliveries, buggy escorting around the Resort. The Bellman/Doorperson reports to the Front Services Manager.
As Bellman/Doorperson, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide courteous, efficient service and ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure in line with MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs) and Forbes standards.
- Greet guests and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.
- Deliver and collect guest luggage according to MOHG quality standards.
- Escort guests around the Resort by golf car respecting time and guest preferences.
- Manage parking and retrieval of vehicles in a timely and courteous safe manner.
- Have an overview of all daily arrivals and departures, as well as external visitors.
- Direct guests, answer questions, and escalate issues to the Front Services Manager or to the Manager on Duty when needed.
- Remain constantly updated about hotel facilities and operating hours, as well as special events and promotions in house.
- Maintain a pleasant and well-groomed appearance during the entire shift.
- Keep luggage storages clean and tidy, respecting operational standards.
- Support colleagues and demonstrate teamwork to ensure service excellence.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
