As a leading company in hospitality we are seeking for:

Housekeeping Supervisor

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the department, ensuring that all the policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Prepare work schedules, making sure that they reflect business needs and other key performance indicators.
  • Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house, be responsible for the maintenance of assigned areas
  • Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
  • Create reports and perform any administration functions, such as purchasing requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably BA/BSc in Tourism and Hospitality
  • Minimum proven experience in a similar position of two years
  • Very good spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of any other foreign language will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
  • Knowledge of “OPERA” software will be considered an asset

  • Must be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to handle challenging situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgement
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with developed communication and listening skills
  • Time Management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
