Athenian Mattress Company is currently in search of a E Commerce & Digital Manager to drive our performance agenda — from e-commerce to omnichannel experience and customer lifetime value for Media Strom brand at Markopoulo Attica.

Athenian Mattress Company is the market leader in Greece in the manufacturing and trading of sleep products. The company operates the country’s most advanced mattress production facility — and one of the top three in Europe — setting industry standards in design, quality, and hygiene.  As a model manufacturing enterprise, it delivers pioneering sleep solutions tailored to modern consumer needs. The company develops and manages a portfolio of sleep product brands that serve distinct segments of the market, addressing a wide range of consumer and business requirements. These brands include Media Strom, Stromatex, Zenius, and Sleep Dimmer. Athenian Mattress Industry is supported by a robust and continuously expanding distribution network, currently comprising approximately 400 retail points, 2,700 hotels, and multiple e-commerce platforms.

This is a senior hands-on role for those who can connect the dots between data, creativity, and commercial results.

We are seeking an E Commerce & Digital Manager with a strong strategic and operational background, who will take full ownership of managing, developing, and optimizing the company’s digital ecosystem.

This role brings together all key touchpoints between the brand and its customers — from the website and e-commerce to the CRM lifecycle and the omnichannel experience — aiming to continuously enhance performance, loyalty, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on digital leader with at least 10 years of experience in retail or consumer-driven brands, deep expertise in performance and a proven ability to lead teams and external partners with a clear commercial focus.

Key Accountabilities

1. Digital Ecosystem & Website Performance

  • Lead the overall digital presence of the brand with focus on performance, speed, and user experience.
  • Develop and execute an integrated digital strategy to improve traffic quality and conversion rates.
  • Oversee digital analytics and reporting (GA4, Tag Manager, Meta, web analytics tools) with benchmarking across markets and channels.
  • Develop and maintain microsites for partnerships and new concept projects.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring consistency, performance, and ROI.

2. E-Commerce Growth & Commercial Enablement

  • Monitor overall e-commerce performance (traffic, average transaction value, sales mix).
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive cross-channel synergy between e-shop and retail.
  • Design targeted sales campaigns and improve content, UX, and UI across platforms.

3. Social & Digital Communication

  • Create and oversee the monthly digital calendar, aligning activations, campaigns, and key brand moments.
  • Supervise community management and strengthen the brand’s organic social presence.
  • Optimize paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, GDN, and YouTube based on performance KPIs.

4. Digital Budget Ownership & Performance Governance

  • Manage and evaluate the annual digital budget (CRM, media, content, technology).
  • Ensure accountability for ROI/ROAS and alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Contribute to the annual plan, including forecasting and scenario analysis.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, and e-commerce management.
  • Proven ability to lead a small team (1 direct report) and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics / GA4, Meta Business Suite, and CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance campaign management and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, commercial mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
