Manufacturing Manager / Xanthi (6316/MM/ESS/GR)

About the Role

The Manufacturing Manager will play a pivotal role in the successful operation of the manufacturing site, combining operational oversight with business-oriented decision-making and people leadership. The role will be responsible for aligning manufacturing activities with business priorities, optimizing resource allocation and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective execution of production plans in line with business priorities and established operational targets.
• Allocate workforce, equipment and materials according to production requirements.
• Oversee manufacturing budgets, monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead, coach and develop manufacturing teams, establishing clear performance expectations and supporting professional growth.
• Drive the adoption of automation and modern manufacturing practices to strengthen the site's capabilities.
• Analyze manufacturing KPIs, identify deviations and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, environmental, quality and regulatory standards.
• Partner with Engineering, R&D, Quality and Maintenance to facilitate new product introductions, technological developments and process enhancements.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering & Management or a related discipline. An MBA will be considered a strong advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management within an industrial environment.
• Proven experience in production planning, resource allocation and manufacturing performance management.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Experience in budget management, cost control and operational planning.
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies, automation and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Experience with SAP will be considered an advantage.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Strong business acumen, with a hands-on approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
