About the hotel:
Located just a 15-minute walk from Mykonos Town, the brand-new Mykonos Earth Suites, is operating since 2020. It is a modern adults-only property, characterized by minimalist elements, strongly influenced by the rustic style and harmonized with the blue and white environment of the island. The hotel consists of 15 state-of-the-art suites with private open-air pools, and an all-day, a-la-carte restaurant & bar, by the central pool, where guests can enjoy authentic Mediterranean cuisine, overlooking the vast Aegean Sea. A powerful combination of elegant accommodation, luxury in each detail and spectacular views, is promising to satisfy even the most particular guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and internal policies are constantly followed and in the right way by all team members, aiming to achieve the highest guest satisfaction.
  • Supervising, coordinating guiding and motivating all F&B Service employees towards guests satisfaction.
  • Reinforcing and participating actively in Up-selling and cross selling within the F&B outlets in order to obtain hotel’s financial goals.
  • Ensuring that all F&B facilities are properly cleaned, properly stocked (with the right supplies and in the right quantity and quality) and in good condition and functionality.
  • Designing and monitoring the work schedule of the F&B service team, according to occupancy levels, hotel needs and company’s obligations towards employees.
  • Actively participating in all F&B service functions (welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drink orders, billing, room service, mini bar refiling etc.) in times of high workload or days off of an F&B service employee.
  • Monitoring the smooth and accurate cashiering functions in all F&B service outlets .

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Waiter A or minimum 2 years of experience as a Captain or Restaurant Manager in an a la carte restaurant of a 5 star Boutique Hotel.
  • Good knowledge of food safety regulations, wines, spirits and coffee (any relevant certificate would be considered as a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English language.
  • Very good knowledge of POS and billing software (Preferably Micros).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands on professional with “can do” attitude and team spirit.
