Optimal, on behalf of a luxury villa complex in Mykonos, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor for year-round employment.
Scope of Role
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, aesthetics, and overall presentation of the villas. The role oversees the housekeeping team, linen management, uniforms, equipment, and consumables, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Prepare daily schedules and allocate tasks to team members
- Conduct final villa inspections prior to guest arrivals
- Monitor reservations and adjust cleaning priorities accordingly
- Oversee linen management, including inventory control and coordination with external laundry services
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and functionality of cleaning equipment
- Identify maintenance issues and report them promptly through internal systems
- Prepare daily reports and participate in annual inventory procedures
- Train, guide, and evaluate housekeeping team members according to company standards
- Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and environmental practices
- Collaborate closely with other department heads to deliver an outstanding hospitality experience
- Support check-in procedures when required
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within luxury villas or 4*/5* hospitality environments
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Familiarity with PMS/ERP systems (knowledge of Protel will be considered an asset)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Professional appearance and discreet conduct
- Good command of English
