Job Overview
As a Telephone
Operator at Daios Cove, you will be the first point of contact for guest
communications, ensuring every call is handled with warmth, professionalism,
and efficiency. You will be responsible for directing calls to the appropriate
staff member or department and ensuring that all messages are recorded
accurately.
In addition to
answering calls, you will be expected to greet guests as they arrive and assist
them with any inquiries or needs, they may have. This may include providing
directions, answering questions about the facility, and helping them with
check-in and check-out procedures.
Your role contributes
directly to creating a seamless and memorable guest experience in line with
Daios Cove’s standards of discreet luxury and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer
all internal and external calls promptly, courteously, and in accordance with
resort standards.
- Organizing
and confirming transfer arrangements for the hotel guests.
- Provide
accurate information regarding resort facilities, services, and local
attractions.
- Handle
guest requests efficiently, ensuring proper follow-up and coordination with
relevant departments.
- Record
and relay messages accurately and promptly.
- Support
the Guest Relations and Front Office teams by maintaining effective
communication channels.
- Assist in
wake-up calls, service requests, and emergency communications when required.
- Maintain
confidentiality and professionalism in all guest interactions.
- Update
and maintain the internal directory and communication logs.
- Report
technical issues with telecommunication systems to the IT or Engineering
department.
- Contribute to maintaining the resort’s reputation
for excellent service through consistent courtesy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Previous
experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort environment
preferred.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in
English and Greek (additional languages are an asset).
- Strong
sense of professionalism, courtesy, and service orientation.
- Familiarity
with PMS and telephone systems (Opera knowledge is an advantage).
- Ability
to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible working
shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
