DevOps Engineer

LMW is seeking for an ambitious and result-oriented DevOps Engineer on behalf of its client, a leading IT Multinational company.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to automate quality checking of Git-managed source code, building, packaging, deployment and unit/integration testing of application modules on various technologies
• Underlying platforms include Linux, IBM AIX, Windows, OpenShift container management
• Use Jenkins scripted and parameterized pipelines and Jenkins integrations (with Git, Sonarqube, docker, OpenShift, LiquiBase, Database, Microservices, Newman-Postman and a multitude of plugins)
• Implement and enhance web tools that automate and simplify routine release management, application management, data management tasks
• Configure and maintain health-checking and monitoring tools and dashboards using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack
• Manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring its scalability and security
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the team

• 1+ years of relevant experience
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
• Good understanding of RedHat Enterprise Linux, administration experience is a plus
• Good knowledge and bash/corn/other unix shell scripting
• Comfortable with scripting in python or another popular scripting language
• Fluency in Greek & English
