We are seeking a highly motivated Beach Manager to make a memorable dining experience.
Job Role : As a Beach Manager at Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort you play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, enjoyable, and efficient operation of the beach area. You are responsible for managing beach staff, guest services, and maintaining the overall quality of the beach experience. Your goal is to create a welcoming and memorable environment for guests while upholding safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule beach staff. Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to maintain a professional and motivated team.
- Guest Services: Welcome guests to the beach, answer inquiries, and provide information about beach amenities, activities, and safety guidelines. Ensure guests have an enjoyable and memorable beach experience.
- Beach Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-organized beach area, including equipment, amenities, and beachfront facilities. Ensure proper sanitation, cleanliness, and regular maintenance.
- Environmental Stewardship: Promote and enforce environmental policies to protect the beach and marine life, including the removal of litter, waste management, and adherence to local environmental regulations.
- Emergency Response: Act as the point of contact during emergencies, including water rescues, medical incidents, and natural disasters. Coordinate with other hotel departments and follow established emergency protocols.
- Financial Management: Monitor expenses related to beach operations. Ensure revenue collection, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Guest Feedback: Solicit and collect guest feedback on beach services and experiences. Analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in beach management or a similar role in the hospitality or resort industry.
- 2-3 years minimum experience on similar position , leadership in hospitality strongly required
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be considered accordingly.
- Exceptional communication
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manage work load using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multi task position.
- Availability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
