General Purpose of the RoleA Compensation and Benefits Senior Manager oversees and manages the organization's compensation and benefits programs. They lead a team of specialists, collaborate with senior management, and ensure the development and implementation of adequate compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organisation's goals and attract, retain, and motivate employees
Your main responsibilities- Allign and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy based on the organisation's overall business objectives
- Lead the implementation of job analysis and evaluation of new positions, and identify re-evaluation needs in existing structures
- Lead the research, design, implementation and administration of employee benefits programs and the respective policies including, but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans and wellness initiatives
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure the organisation's compensation and benefits packages remain competitive
- Manage the annual salary review process and ensure equitable and consistent application of compensation policies
- Oversee the communication and education of compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures to employees
- Create and implement data analytics to provide insights to senior management regarding the effectiveness and cost efficiency of the compensation and benefits program
- Ensure accurate ad reliable data validation processes for compensation and benefits-related data, maintaining integrity and accuracy
- Provide guidance to the compensation and benefits team in job analysis, salary benchmarking and evaluation
Required Education/ Qualifications/ Other Accreditations- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) are a plus.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and employment regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and relevant software applications.
