The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the premises, overseeing all building systems, maintenance activities, and service providers. This role serves as a central point of coordination for property-related matters, combining technical expertise with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
The Facilities Manager plays a critical part in maintaining a secure, well-functioning environment for employees and visitors, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting daily operational needs.
The Facilities Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensures the proper functioning of all security systems, plumbing installations, lighting infrastructure, and electrical panels within the building.
- Acts as the primary liaison between the company and the other companies within the building complex on all property-related matters.
- Identifies and reports facility-related malfunctions and coordinates with the appropriate contractors or workshops to carry out repairs, subject to approval of the associated costs.
- Supervises all maintenance and repair works performed by external vendors, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.
- Monitors and follows up on scheduled preventive and periodic maintenance activities.
- Oversees the performance of the contracted cleaning services provider, ensuring adherence to agreed service standards.
- Performs the duties of the Safety Technician in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Supervises the support team, including reception, driver/messenger, and cafeteria facilities personnel.
