ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a Leading Greek Dairy Company, is seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join the finance team. 

Junior Financial Controller (5948/JFC/ESS/GR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and maintain accurate monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Collaborate closely with the CFO to support the budgeting process, forecasting models, and variance analysis.
• Perform profitability and cost analysis across different products, categories, and distribution channels.
• Partner with internal departments to collect and reconcile financial data for deeper performance insights.
• Build financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• Support accounting operations during month-end and year-end closings, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Help create dashboards and reporting tools that increase financial transparency across the organization.
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the preparation of audit-related documentation.
• Oversee essential treasury activities, including payment planning, bank reconciliations, and approval workflows.
• Participate in ERP-related initiatives, enhancing the financial reporting framework and process automation.

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling, or reporting—preferably in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in budgeting and financial reporting processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Entersoft is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience in working with external auditors or accounting firms.
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and build reports.
• Fluent in Greek and proficient in English (oral and written).
• High attention to detail and structured approach to work.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proactive, dependable, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
