for 'OCTO Seaside Restaurant, Mako Sea & Suites, Halkidiki.

MAKO Sea & Suites, a boutique beachfront property located in Halkidiki, is looking for a Head Cook / Chef to lead the kitchen team and bring new ideas to our already established culinary concept.

OCTO is a well-known restaurant in Pefkohori area, known for its refined atmosphere, high-quality ingredients, and excellent guest reviews. We’re now seeking a creative professional to evolve our menu — combining innovation with the distinctive Mediterranean character that defines us.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team with professionalism and leadership
• Contribute new ideas and dishes to the existing menu or create a new one based on the existing culinary identity, respecting the restaurant’s concept and the initial aspects the restaurant is known for
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Maintain excellent hygiene and safety practices (HACCP)
• Manage food inventory, storage, and cost control
• Collaborate closely with management to plan themed or special menu updates
• Collaborate with the restaurant and service teams to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in high-end or boutique restaurants
• Strong knowledge of Mediterranean and contemporary cuisine
• Creativity, passion for gastronomy, and attention to detail
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
• Professionalism, organization, and positive attitude
