Procurement Quality Manager

Latochema, a leading company in Paris, Limassol, Thessaloniki and Beijing, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Quality Manager to join our team in Thessaloniki, Greece. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing our procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies. This role plays a crucial part in the success of our organization, and we are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency goals.
• Oversee the procurement team and ensure their productivity and performance align with company objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, maintaining a robust vendor network.
• Monitor market trends and industry best practices to keep procurement processes up-to-date.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and align strategies accordingly.
• Establish and maintain effective inventory management procedures.
• Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of international procurement regulations.
• Strong advantage if you've worked within the chemical industry
