For our client, a 5-star luxury hotel in Co. Cork, Ireland, we are looking for a Breakfast Chef.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least three years of proven work experience in a busy restaurant or similar environment.
- Qualification from a culinary school is desirable.
- HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols knowledge
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation, passion for delivering great food and service
- Ability to work in fact paced environment, in the early morning hours.
- Time management
- Minimum Upper Intermediate level of English is required.
About the job:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Start: June/July 2023
- If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with permanent accommodation for 50 € per week (200 € per month) for shared accommodation or 100 € per week for a single private room in shared accommodation. Utilities are included in the cost.
- Salary after tax in Ireland for this Breakfast Chef role will be from 27.040 € to 31.200 € gross per year depending on experience (1.970 € – 2.215 € net per month) for 40 hours per week ( 5 days per week)
- Salary is paid every two weeks.
- Breakfast is served already plated (no buffet breakfast)
Your duties will be: responsible for ensuring the highest level of food quality and service is delivered to guests in the morning, food preparation, service and plating of meals, ensuring that the highest hygiene and cleaning standards are maintained, ensuring food is stored in appropriate containers, labelled, and rotated to ensure high standards of freshness, minimizing waste and maximizing quality, following all recipes as they apply to any food products that you prepare, as determined by the Executive Chef
