Περιγραφή

On behald of our client, a 5* Resort in Folegandros with 25 Suites & 2 Villas , we are recruiting a Pastry Chef for this summer season.

As our Pastry Chef, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our guests' dining experience by crafting delectable desserts and pastries that are both visually stunning and delightfully delicious. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry artistry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and taste. The resort is collaborating with Executive Consultant Chef Mr. Lazarou.

The Role: 

  • Designing and executing a diverse range of pastry items, including cakes, pastries, bread, and desserts, in accordance with the resort's culinary standards and guest preferences.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop seasonal menus and specialty dessert offerings that reflect local flavors and ingredients.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Training and mentoring pastry team members to ensure consistency and excellence in execution.
  • Adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and techniques, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hospitality setting, preferably within a resort or fine dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles, with a demonstrated ability to create visually stunning and delicious desserts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
