Web Application Developer – (Ref. 5397/WAD/ESS/GR)
The role:
The Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate should have a background in Oracle databases and be proficient in APEX application development, ensuring that clients’ applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using technologies such as Oracle SQL, Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java
- Create and maintain database objects, including tables, views, and PL/SQL procedures
- Optimize database queries and performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage
- Collaborate with various departments within the company to gather and analyze software requirements
- Create and maintain user-friendly interfaces with a focus on user experience and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects to ensure application reliability and stability
- Optimize application performance and ensure data security
- Maintain documentation of application design, development, and testing processes
