Financial Accountant

We are seeking a Financial Accountant  for a leading  multinational telecommunications company.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to be involved in the monthly reporting of the actual financial statements and results in compliance with IFRS. This job is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, has polished communication skills and is able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including third parties.

More specifically you will:

• Ensure that Financial information is correctly captured in the SAP ERP system. Analyze monthly Financial results and make the required accruals/adjustments in a timely manner during the month end close.
• Participate in the issuance of invoices for customers and book vendor invoices & Claims.
• Preparation and analysis of various deliverables for both Management Accounting and external auditrequests including balance sheet reconciliations
•  Exercise of internal control procedures and continuous maintenance of Financial reporting in a strict compliance with the Company's Accounting Policies including compliance with my data.
• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon supervisor’s request.

• University degree in Accounting or Finance (MSc will be considered as a strong plus)
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in relevant positions
• Fluency in English and Greek language
• Very good computer skills - MS office, SAP ERP understanding
• Communication, Planning and Organizational skills, Analytical and problem solving skills
• Team spirit and high collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously with a continuous process improvement mindset
