Actionline, on behalf of its client—a leading company in the Fashion Retail sector—is seeking to recruit a Procurement Retail Officer.
As a Procurement Retail Officer, you will contribute to managing supplier relationships and ensuring the smooth flow of orders, guaranteeing timely deliveries and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor orders from placement to receipt
- Coordinate import procedures and maintain communication with transport companies and customs brokers
- Provide administrative support to the Production Department
- Enter and create product codes in the ERP system (barcodes, compositions, colors, etc.)
- Manage inventory and collaborate with the warehouse for tracking deliveries
- Communicate with the design and production departments to ensure product specifications are met
- Negotiate prices and terms of cooperation with existing and new suppliers
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion or retail industry
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for communication with suppliers
- Experience with ERP systems and data entry
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of import procedures, customs clearance, or contract manufacturing will be considered an asset
