Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive, escort them
to assigned dining area and present menus
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar
areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests
- Observe the overall look of the restaurant; spot
cleanliness problems, assist food and beverage teams by setting and clearing
tables, replenishing water and serving beverages
- Maintain at all times a high standard of personal
appearance and hygiene
- Follow all health and safety company regulations;
report any maintenance problems
Qualifications / Personal characteristics:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar
position ideally within a 5* Luxury Hotel
- Excellent knowledge of English language; a second
language (German, Russian or French) will be considered as a plus
- Pleasant personality with excellent communication
and interpersonal skills
- Team player with enviable customer service
skills, capable to create memorable experiences for the guests
- Ability to handle cash register and ordering
information system (POS)
