As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, working closely with the Finance and People & Culture teams. You will support compliance with Greek legislation and contribute to the smooth administration of employee compensation in a dynamic, world-class hospitality environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Greek labour and tax legislation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records and documentation.
  • Review and validate timesheets, payroll inputs, and adjustments for completeness and accuracy.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll, deductions, benefits, and allowances in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Support the administration of payroll-related changes, including bonuses, incentives, and benefits.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and People & Culture teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll execution.
  • Assist in payroll reconciliations, internal controls, and periodic audits.
  • Contribute to the effective use and continuous improvement of payroll systems and related processes.


Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Requirements

  • Minimum of  5 years’ experience in payroll processing, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Greek payroll legislation, taxation and social security regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (ideally SCAN HRMS) and Microsoft Office; experience with timekeeping systems is an advantage.
  • Exceptional accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English is required.
