Job Title: Housekeeping Manager
Location: Paliouri Halkidiki
Job Type: Seasonal from February-November

Company Description: Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort is a dynamic and innovative resort committed to excellence and growth. We are seeking a highly motivated Housekeeping Manager to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness.

Job Role : The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in all areas of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

Scheduling and Budgeting:

  • Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget
  • Create and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of labor resources

Guest Satisfaction:

  • Address guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping promptly and effectively
  • Implement and maintain quality control programs to enhance guest satisfaction

Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure that housekeeping staff follows all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment

Communication:

  • Foster effective communication within the housekeeping department and with other hotel departments
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus
  • Prior experience in housekeeping, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety standards
  • Familiarity with housekeeping software and basic computer skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
