On behalf of our client, leader in the construction materials sector and with multiple factories in Europe, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the products’ life cycle within the company's sales plan and supports the organization’s expansion by launching new and existing products in domestic and international markets. The position reports directly to the General Manager and is based in Kilkis.
Key duties
- Define demand target groups and successfully market company’s products
- Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and needs and contribute to further/ new product development
- Closely collaborate with all company functions and support the extroversion, the presence in international fora and the registration of existing and new products (patents, exhibitions etc.)
- Elaborate sales forecasts for production planning and product development
- Evaluates the existing product portfolio, analyzing the life cycle of the products and examines possible sales development opportunities in various market segments within the framework of the agreed strategy
- Participates to the Annual Marketing & Sales Plan for the products of responsibility
Requirements and Competencies
- Degree preferably in Engineering
- 4 years minimum as a Product Manager or Product Developer in a company with an organized Marketing department (preferably technical products)
- 8 years minimum experience in sales department with B2B orientation
- Excellent use of English language (written and spoken)
- Ability to create and support sustainable market penetration
- Sharp negotiation, communication and networking skills
- Multi-tasking and organization skills
- Project management
- Military obligations fulfilled (for male applicants)
