We are looking for a (Junior) IT Administrator to support the daily IT operations of our industrial plant. In this role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of computer systems, network connectivity, user accounts, and Microsoft 365 services. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, assist users, and perform essential system administration tasks within a Windows domain environment.
Key Responsibilities :
User & System Support
- Provide
first-line technical support to plant and office users (hardware,
software, and network issues).
- Install,
configure, and maintain Windows 11 workstations and peripherals
(printers, scanners, etc.).
- Manage
user requests via ticketing or email systems, ensuring timely and
effective resolution.
Active Directory & Microsoft 365
- Create,
modify, and deactivate Active Directory user accounts, groups, and
permissions.
- Manage Microsoft
365 accounts, mailboxes, and licenses (Exchange Online, Teams,
SharePoint).
- Support
password resets, account lockouts, and access control policies.
Networking & Infrastructure
- Monitor
and maintain basic LAN/WAN connectivity and network equipment
(switches, routers, access points).
- Assist
in configuring and labeling network ports, patch panels, and cabling
(Cat6, fiber).
- Troubleshoot
network issues (connectivity, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi).
System Maintenance
- Apply
system updates and security patches to workstations and IT equipment.
- Maintain
IT documentation (user lists, IP addressing, asset inventory, credentials
under supervision).
Plant-Specific IT Duties
- Collaborate
with engineering and maintenance teams for system integration or
networking equipment.
- Follow
IT security and safety procedures aligned with industrial standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in IT support or system administration (internship or entry-level experience acceptable).
Technical Skills:
- Windows 10/11 installation and troubleshooting
- Active Directory (users, groups, GPO basics)
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Attention to detail and good documentation habits
- Ability to work independently in a production environment
