Architect

Trenkwalder for its client, an architecture firm, is seeking an Architect.

Responsibilities of the Architect:

• Prepare and develop project deliverables in Revit for all the phases of a project including planning applications and construction

• Assume responsibility for partial design packages, collaborate with all stakeholders and complete deliverables effectively and efficiently

• Liaise with external partners and consultants in formal and informal meetings

• Coordinate the design with other disciplines to produce a comprehensive and fault-free design

• Proactively flag any issues that may arise during the project, take ownership of them, and collaborate with your team internally to resolve them

• Create concepts and test early ideas through 3D visualizations, Photoshop, hand sketching and physical modelling

• Prepare presentations, design briefs, and documentation that will be shared with clients and 3rd parties

Requirements:

• Professional qualification in Architecture or a related field

• 4+ years of post-grad professional experience as an Architect

• Sound conceptual and visualization skills

• Practical, adaptable and proactive mindset with the ability to translate directives into action

• Demonstratable ability to think efficiently and methodically when developing design options

• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Professional attention to detail with an inner-drive for precision

• Aptitude for prioritizing your work while meeting deadlines in a high-paced environment

• Good understanding of specifications and confidence in selecting materials according to them

• Working knowledge of planning regulations in Greece, such as NOK, Fire Safety, etc.

• Professional experience with Revit in a multi-disciplinary BIM environment

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) and MS office

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and team-oriented approach to solving problems

• Fluency in Greek and English- written and oral

• Permission to live and work in the EU

Nice to have:

• Professional experience in an international architectural firm focused on large-scale projects

• Experience in technical detailing & construction administration

• Familiarity and/or accreditation with LEED certification system

• Expert knowledge of Revit utilizing 4D, 5D, 6D, 7D BIM dimensions

• Good knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, and/or other 3d modelling and parametric software

• Experience working with project management tools is a plus (ACONEX, Asana, Slack, etc.)

• Working knowledge of the German language
