Assistant Accountant
Mykonos, Paraga
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial operations, managing accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the restaurant.
- Process invoices, expenses, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and budgets.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
