We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Molecular Biologist to join our healthcare team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct DNA, RNA, and protein extraction, purification, and quantification
- Design and perform PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, cloning, and other molecular biology techniques
- Conduct and analyze molecular and genetic experiments and procedures as required in a laboratory at the highest level of standards
- Analyze and interpret results using specialized software and tools
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient lab environment
- Ensure all lab equipment is functioning correctly, coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed
- Order and stock lab supplies and reagents
- Ensure accurate data entry and management, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations
- Collaborate with other scientists, lab technicians, and external partners
- Train junior staff and lab interns on molecular biology techniques and lab safety protocols
- Μonitor changes in healthcare regulations and laboratory standards to ensure compliance and user safety
- Conducting research and providing recommendations for acquiring advanced equipment that can improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in user care
